Data Processing Agreement (DPA)
For customers who have personal data processed via querrio, we conclude a DPA under Art. 28 GDPR.
Last updated: 2026-08-21
| Legal basis | Art. 28 GDPR |
|---|---|
| Processor | hantha GmbH |
| Hosting | EU |
| AI provider | EU-based, DPA in place |
Usable without a cookie banner
The querrio widget sets no cookies, uses no fingerprinting and does not recognise visitors across days. That is why the search on your website needs no consent (cookie banner).
- No cookies, no local storage for recognition
- IP address only truncated and as a daily rotating hash
- Emails, IBANs and phone numbers in search terms are removed automatically
- Raw data is deleted after 30 days, afterwards only anonymous statistics (at least 3 identical searches)
- Hosting and AI processing in the EU
When is a DPA required?
A data processing agreement is required as soon as you, as a controller, have personal data processed by querrio. Since the querrio search also processes user search queries, concluding a DPA is recommended for commercial customers.
What the DPA regulates
The DPA defines the type, scope and purpose of processing, obliges hantha GmbH to confidentiality, to technical and organisational measures (TOMs) and to deletion after the end of the contract. Sub-processors (hosting, AI provider) are named.
- Subject and duration of processing
- Type and purpose of data processing
- Technical and organisational measures (TOMs)
- Naming of sub-processors (hosting, AI)
- Deletion and return after the end of the contract
Conclusion of the DPA
The DPA is concluded electronically as an annex to the main contract. Contact info@hantha.com with the subject „DPA querrio” and state your organisation and the desired plan. We will provide you with the DPA text for signature immediately.
Sub-processors
querrio uses a hosting provider with a data centre in the EU and an AI provider for embedding computation (also EU-based) as sub-processors. DPAs exist with both. A list of sub-processors is named in the DPA and updated when changes occur.
