Terms of Service

§ 2 Services and plan limits

The service includes crawling and indexing the customer's website, providing an AI-powered search function as a widget and/or API, and a backend for configuration and analytics. The scope of functions depends on the chosen subscription plan. Plan limits (maximum indexed pages, searches per month) are listed on the pricing page.

• Free: 1 project, 100 indexed pages, limited searches/month
• Starter & Pro: higher limits, overage mechanism
• Limits apply per organization and billing month

§ 3 Overage and hard cap

On paid plans, searches exceeding the monthly limit (overage) continue to be served until a hard cap is reached. On free accounts, search is paused once the limit is reached. We endeavour to notify customers early (80 %, 90 %) about limit usage.

§ 4 Customer obligations

The customer assures that they hold the rights to the content they provide for indexing and that embedding the widget on their website is permitted. The customer is responsible for the lawfulness of the indexed content.

§ 5 Availability and maintenance

The service aims for an availability of 99.5 % per month. Planned maintenance, third-party provider outages and force majeure are reserved. The customer is informed in the backend about longer disruptions.

§ 6 Pricing and payment

Prices are listed on the pricing page. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance by credit card (Stripe). Refunds for already paid periods are not granted, except for disruptions caused by hantha GmbH.

§ 7 Cancellation

Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at the end of the billing month at any time. Annual subscriptions renew for one year unless cancelled 30 days before expiry. Cancellation is done via the backend or by email.

§ 8 Liability

hantha GmbH is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence as well as for damages to life, body and health. Otherwise, liability is limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. There is no liability for the quality and completeness of search results beyond the duty of care.

§ 9 Governing law

Italian law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The place of jurisdiction is, where legally permissible, Sarntal / Bolzano (Italy).

§ 10 Changes reserved

Prices, plan limits and the scope of the service may be changed by hantha GmbH. Existing contractual conditions remain unaffected until the end of the current billing period; changes take effect from the next billing cycle and are announced in the backend.
